Choose a fictional role and answer short questions without reading a complete dialogue. This activity extends introductions into work, study and weekend plans. It is independent beginner practice, not an official exam task or a level certificate.
Read the two role cards
Άννα
Μένω στη Λυών. Δουλεύω σε ένα αρτοποιείο. Αρχίζω τη δουλειά στις επτά. Την Κυριακή κάνω βόλτα.
Anna lives in Lyon, works in a bakery and starts work at seven. On Sunday she goes for a walk.
Νίκος
Μένω στην Αθήνα. Είμαι φοιτητής. Το μάθημα αρχίζει στις εννέα. Το Σάββατο πίνω καφέ με φίλους.
Nikos lives in Athens and is a student. His class starts at nine. On Saturday he has coffee with friends.
Choose a question that fits the role

The questions use friendly singular forms. Ask Anna about work and Nikos about class. The cards do not tell you their ages or countries of origin; residence is not proof of origin. Introduce the roles with Με λένε Άννα or Με λένε Νίκο.

Practise in three rounds
- Keep your card visible. Your partner asks three suitable questions in a different order; answer in complete short sentences.
- Cover the card and keep only five cues: name, city, work or study, time, weekend. Retry a forgotten answer after checking the card.
- Switch roles. Your partner now deliberately gives one wrong time. Correct it before continuing, rather than accepting the mistaken detail.
Correct one detail
For Anna, the partner says “You start at nine”. Try the correction below. Then create the equivalent correction for Nikos’s class if the partner says seven.
