Listen for the distinction
The first two questions begin with Τι θα, but the verbs differ. Πάρετε asks what you will have in this restaurant context; πιείτε specifically asks what you will drink. Do not answer only from the familiar opening. Replay and pay attention to the final verb. The responses in the questions are practice choices, not a transcription of the customer’s replies in the full lesson.
Respond to the offer
Γλυκό refers to dessert in this exchange. Όχι, ευχαριστώ declines politely; Ναι, παρακαλώ accepts the offer in a short practice response. These forms address a customer politely or more than one person. Learn the complete question before attempting to change it to familiar singular address.
Check the amount
Separate δεκαοκτώ ευρώ from πενήντα λεπτά: eighteen euros and fifty cents. Write both parts before combining them into €18.50. The clip does not say fifteen cents. This is the amount in the recorded lesson, not a current restaurant price or a promise about what a meal costs.
Move from recognition to a reply
Replay one question with the transcript closed and say a suitable answer after it ends. Then open the transcript to check which question you answered. If you responded about food to the drinks question, practise that contrast again. This activity checks the short prompts; it does not demonstrate comprehension of every exchange in a restaurant.
