Terms of Service
Last updated: 26 July 2026
Who we are
grecfacile.ch (“the Service”) is a Greek-learning platform operated by an individual based in Geneva, Switzerland. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
For any question, write to us at info@grecfacile.ch.
The Service
The Service gives access to Greek courses structured by level (CEFR A1 to Γ2), exercises, reading texts, vocabulary, grammar notes and mock exams in the Ελληνομάθεια format.
Level A1 is free and will remain so. Levels A2 to Γ2, the exams and progress tracking require an active subscription.
We also offer one-to-one lessons with a teacher, booked separately.
We may change, add or remove content and features. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available without interruption.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials confidential.
An account is personal. The Family plan covers up to 4 learners in the same household; each learner has their own profile.
If the Service is used by a minor, it must be used with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.
Free trial
When you sign up you receive a 7-day trial giving access to every level. No card is required, and the trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
When the trial ends, access to the paid levels stops unless you subscribe. Level A1 remains available.
Subscriptions and prices
Individual: CHF 8 per month or CHF 80 per year (1 learner).
Family: CHF 12 per month or CHF 120 per year (up to 4 learners).
School: priced per student, quoted individually based on how many students are enrolled.
Prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF). The amount actually charged is the one displayed at checkout.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (monthly or annual) until you cancel.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
Available payment methods may vary by country; in Switzerland, TWINT may be offered for one-off payments. TWINT does not support automatic recurring charges: an automatically renewing subscription requires a card.
If a payment fails, access may be suspended after a retry period.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time, without giving a reason, from your profile (“Manage billing”).
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: you keep access until that date, and the subscription is not renewed.
Periods already started are not refunded pro rata, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
We may suspend or terminate an account for serious breach of these terms, in particular unauthorised sharing or copying of the content.
Refunds
Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
Beyond those rights, subscriptions are not refunded pro rata. If a technical problem significantly deprived you of access, write to us — we look at such cases individually.
Private lessons
Private lessons are billed separately from the subscription: CHF 60 for a 60-minute lesson, CHF 275 for a pack of 5, CHF 520 for a pack of 10, and CHF 70 per hour for Ελληνομάθεια exam preparation.
A first discovery call is free and without obligation.
Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours in advance may be deducted from the pack. Packs are valid for 12 months from purchase.
Price changes
We may change our prices. Any change will be announced to you at least 30 days before it applies to your subscription, and will only take effect at your next renewal. If the new price does not suit you, you can cancel before that date.
Content and intellectual property
The content of the Service (texts, exercises, recordings, illustrations) is protected and remains our property or that of our licensors.
Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to use it for your own learning. It does not allow you to copy, republish, resell or distribute the content, or to use it to train automated systems.
Texts you write as part of the exercises remain yours; you allow us to process them in order to provide you with a correction.
Liability
The Service is provided as is. We do not guarantee any particular result in an exam or assessment.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us over the previous 12 months.
Personal data
How we process your personal data is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Geneva, Switzerland, subject to mandatory rules protecting consumers, which may allow a consumer to bring proceedings at their own place of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Any significant change will be noted on this page with a revised update date, and you will be informed if it affects your ongoing subscription.
