Who we are

grecfacile.ch (“the Service”) is a Greek-learning platform operated as a sole proprietorship from Geneva, Switzerland. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms.

The Service

The Service gives access to Greek courses organised by CEFR level (A1 to Γ2), exercises, reading texts, vocabulary, grammar notes and Ελληνομάθεια-style mock exams.

The starter course — the first fifteen exercises, along with a selection of introductory content — is free and needs no subscription. The first three exercises do not even need an account.

Beyond that, access is bought per level: a single payment for each level, with no subscription and no renewal. Grammar explanations and the mythology library remain freely readable.

We also offer private lessons with a teacher, booked separately.

We may change, add or withdraw content and features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials confidential.

An account is personal, and purchased levels are attached to that account. They can be used on any device you sign in on, but cannot be transferred to another person or resold.

If the Service is used by a minor, it must be with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.

Accounts opened while level A1 was free

Level A1 was offered free of charge until the move to per-level access. Accounts created before that change keep level A1 at no cost: the access was granted to them and appears in their profile, exactly like a purchased level.

That acquired access cannot be withdrawn by any later change to these terms.

Per-level access and prices

One level: A1 19 CHF, A2 25 CHF, B1 29 CHF, B2 35 CHF, C1 39 CHF, C2 45 CHF.

Bundles: A1–A2 39 CHF, A1–B2 89 CHF, A1–C2 129 CHF.

These are the standard prices. Temporary promotions (a percentage discount on some or all offers, for an announced period) may apply: the reduction is then calculated automatically and the reduced price is shown before payment. A promotion may be changed or ended at any time and applies only to purchases made while it is running — no refund of the difference is due on a purchase made before or after it.

The prices in force are always shown on the pricing page (grecfacile.ch/pricing); if the two ever differ, the amount shown at payment is the one that applies.

Prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF). The amount actually charged is the one shown at payment. Other currencies displayed on the site are indicative only.

These are one-off payments. Nothing is charged afterwards: there is no renewal, no recurring billing and nothing to cancel.

If you buy a bundle containing a level you already own, what you already paid for that level is deducted from the bundle price.

Scope and duration of access

Buying a level gives access to all of that level's content: exercises, corrections, grammar notes, texts, vocabulary and mock exams, together with saved progress.

Access is granted without a time limit, for as long as the Service is operated. It is not a transfer of ownership of the content (see “Content and intellectual property”).

A level's content may be corrected, extended or reorganised over time; those changes are included. If we were to discontinue the Service for good, we would tell you in advance and let you export your progress.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.

Available payment methods may vary by country. Because purchases are one-off, methods that cannot take recurring payments — TWINT in Switzerland, for example — can be used.

Access to the level opens as soon as Stripe confirms the payment.

Right of withdrawal and immediate delivery

What you buy is digital content supplied immediately: the level is unlocked as soon as payment is confirmed.

If you live in the European Union, or in a country granting a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content, then by completing the payment you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you thereby lose that right of withdrawal once access has been opened.

Swiss law provides no general right of withdrawal for online purchases. Our own refund rules, below, apply in every case.

Refunds

Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected by these terms.

If a technical problem significantly deprived you of access to a level you bought, write to us: we will fix the problem or refund that level.

A level bought by mistake — a duplicate, or one level bought instead of another — is refunded on request within 14 days, provided use has remained marginal. Outside those cases, a one-off purchase is not refundable.

A refund ends access to the refunded level.

Private lessons

Private lessons are billed separately from levels: CHF 60 for a 60-minute lesson, CHF 275 for a 5-lesson package, CHF 520 for a 10-lesson package, and CHF 70 per hour for Ελληνομάθεια exam preparation.

A first introductory conversation is free and without obligation.

Lessons cancelled less than 24 hours in advance may be counted against the package. Packages are valid for 12 months from purchase.

Price changes

We may change the price of levels at any time. A change applies only to purchases made after it takes effect.

A level you have already bought is never charged again, whatever its price becomes later.

Content and intellectual property

The content of the Service (texts, exercises, recordings, illustrations) is protected and remains our property or that of our licensors.

Buying a level grants you a personal, non-exclusive right to use that level's content for your own learning. It does not allow you to copy, republish, resell or distribute the content, or to use it to train automated systems.

The texts you write in exercises remain yours; you authorise us to process them in order to correct them.

Liability

The Service is provided as is. We do not guarantee any particular result in an examination or assessment.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us over the last 12 months.

Account suspension

We may suspend or close an account for a serious breach of these terms, in particular unauthorised sharing or copying of content.

Where an account is closed for such a breach, purchased levels are not refunded. If we close an account for another reason attributable to us, we refund the levels bought.

Personal data

The processing of your personal data is described in our privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Geneva, Switzerland, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules, which may allow a consumer to bring proceedings at their own domicile.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Any significant change will be shown on this page with an updated date.

A change cannot withdraw access already acquired to a level you bought or were granted.
