Born and raised in Athens, I hold a degree in Philosophy-Pedagogy-Psychology (psychology track) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with postgraduate studies in Service Management at the Athens University of Economics and Business. I also hold a master’s degree from the Hellenic Open University, “Education and Technologies in distance teaching and learning systems”, obtained to keep developing my teaching skills for today’s world. In Greece, throughout and after my studies, I gave private lessons in Ancient and Modern Greek, literature, essay writing and Latin to secondary-school students, preparing them for the Panhellenic exams. Based in Geneva since 2017, I teach Greek as a second/foreign language — Greek language and culture to children and adults, in Greek-language school structures in Switzerland as well as in private lessons. I have specialised in teaching Greek as a second/foreign language to children and adults, in special education and in adult education, and I keep training in education, psychology, new technologies and Greek-language didactics.
