Reading unfamiliar Greek, graded
The reading paper puts text in front of you that you have not seen. Sixty myths and dozens of graded readings do exactly that, with vocabulary support that tapers as you improve — so unfamiliar stops meaning unmanageable.

Grammar for heritage speakers specifically

Is this an official Edexcel or Pearson resource?
No. There is no affiliation with Pearson or Edexcel and none is implied. This is independent Greek practice built around CEFR levels; the GCSE specification and past papers come from your school or Pearson directly.
Which papers does it really help with?
Reading and writing, thoroughly, plus the grammar and vocabulary that sit under all four. Not listening — we have no native audio yet. Speaking only through the live lessons. We would rather you know that before subscribing than after.
My child speaks Cypriot Greek at home. Is that a problem?
It is an advantage for comprehension and a known trap for writing, since the exam is set in standard Modern Greek. The grammar notes are written in standard Greek throughout, which is exactly the correction most Greek-Cypriot candidates need.
We already go to a Greek community school in north London. Why add this?
Because a couple of hours a week is not where a GCSE is won or lost — the days in between are. This is designed to sit alongside community school, not replace it.
